~ Collaborator, Pianist, Baritone & Organist ~
Growing up in the Monadnock Region, Kyle R. Trombley has been involved in the arts as a Collaborative Pianist, Vocalist and Organist. He currently attends Keene State College earning a Bachelor's in Music and a Bachelor's in Computer Science. His time at Keene State allows him to participate as a Student Collaborative Pianist, and perform in choral groups such as: Concert Choir, Vocal Consort (an early music chamber ensemble), and Opera Workshop. Kyle is also part of the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME) and American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), which are two collegiate groups on campus.
Primarily, he serves as a free-lancing pianist, partaking in local events mostly by either: accompanying shows, accompanying vocalists, or providing background music at the nearby winery. Kyle has taken part in a variety of semi-professional work to professional work in events ranging from Broadway musicals, funerals, to performing at large venues such as Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House through The Honors Performance Series. He has been involved performing in local halls and theatre's like Whitcomb Hall, The Old Homestead, The Colonial Theatre, and several other well known establishments in and around the Monadnock Region. Kyle has been a part of the Regional and Jazz All State for both mixed choral ensembles, which are sponsored by NAfME. He also holds experience with assistant direction and musical direction in musicals and small choral ensembles.
In addition to local performing, he serves as the current Music Minister, and full time Music Director at the First Congregational Church of Swanzey. In this role, he directs the Bell Choir and Vocal Ensemble. He holds two benefit concerts a year adding an element of collaboration to the church by bringing in young local musicians to perform with the singers and ringers in each concert.
He is a private piano instructor for both beginning and intermediate levels for all ages, as well.
Most of all, Kyle believes thoroughly in giving back to the community in return for the support that has been given to him.
